"Mate" Tasting Stop

We’ll do our “mate stop”, to try the most popular drink in Argentina. it’s an infusion with hot water you drink from a cup through a metal straw. (Yes, we know that looks weird like drugs or something illegal, but it’s just like tea lol) During the mate session we’ll have around 30 minutes to talk about all things you want to know about our habits, culture, politics, economy or whatever you want to know, please feel free to ask all your questions.

Highlights in our Bike Tour:

Cementerio de Recoleta:

Recoleta Cemetery Long Stop On City Bike Tour

Cementerio de Recoleta:

It’s the oldest cemetery in Buenos Aires, and one of the most famous and fancy cemetery around the world. Each piece of land was sell to a rich family in Argentina to build there impressive mausoleums. To have a grave there gave to the families “status“, and they competed to each other about who has the most luxurious one. You’ll have around 30 minutes to walk around this memorable place. *Recoleta Cemetery ticket included.

Floralis Generica:

Floralis Generica is one of the modern icons in Buenos Aires. It’s a huge metal flower made with 18 tons of metals recycled from airplanes. This sculpture was donated by Eduardo Catalano to the city in the year 2002. The sculpture is located in a park at Recoleta neighborhood and next to the “Universidad de Derecho” (law university), so there is full of students during the year, and of course it’s full of tourist taking pictures.

Floralis Generica:

Mini Break at Floralis Generica Park

Bosques de Palermo:

City tour for groups

Bosques de Palermo:

It’s a huge green area in the North of Buenos Aires. Locals known the area just like “Bosques de Palermo”, but in fact are several parks one next to the other, each one with each name of course. In the area are artificial lakes that add a touch of nature in the middle of the city. There is also the Rosedal (rose garden) that is an awesome park with more than 18 thousand rose plants and around 100 different kinds of roses.

Palermo Chico:

Palermo Chico, also known as “Barrio Parque” or “embassies area” is an area inside of Palermo. Without a doubt it’s the most extravagant area in Buenos Aires, there is full of French style palaces, which used to be the houses of the rich people in Argentina and become in embassies for different countries at the middle of XX century. When you’ll visit the area you’ll realize why Buenos Aires is known as “The Paris of South America”.

Palermo Soho:

Visiting Palermo Soho on City Tour

Palermo Soho:

Palermo Soho is an area that was rated like one of the “coolest” areas around the world. Just 30 years ago it was a kind of “dangerous area”, there was nothing around, just some houses and a few garages. After a fast process of gentrification, it became in a symbol of the city, full of bars, restaurants, art galleries, cloth shops, hotels, night clubs and tons of street art (yes, like the Soho in New York or London).
