Who We Are

Meet Julián, Carlos, and Gilda – the passionate team behind the Biker Street family. As three Argentines who share a love for biking, we made the bold decision to turn our dream into reality by founding our very own bike tour company.

When you choose Biker Street, you’re not just a customer – you become a part of our family. From your initial contact to the end of your experience, you’ll have direct communication with one of us. That’s right, we personally handle every single detail, ensuring a tailored and exceptional adventure for you.

Bio

Hey, there! I’m Carlos, but everyone calls me Cali. It feels like I’ve been doing this job forever because even before Biker Street, I loved hosting travelers through Couchsurfing and showing them around Buenos Aires. I’ve always enjoyed introducing people to our culture, especially sharing a good mate—a tradition I’m passionate about.

Before joining Biker Street, I worked at Buenos Aires Port, handling ship supplies and repairs. Those years taught me how to navigate all kinds of accents in English! Now, I’m thrilled to spend my days outdoors, guiding tours and sharing my love for this city with visitors from all over the world. And living just two blocks from Plaza de Mayo, I never miss the chance to check out what’s happening whenever there’s a demonstration.

Bio

¡Hola! I’m Gilda, your go-to person for anything behind-the-scenes at Biker Street. When I’m not hosting a tour, I teach Spanish as a foreign language and do translations, which lets me share my love of languages and cultures. I used to work full-time at a Spanish school, but now, I get to balance my love for biking with office work at Biker Street. It’s the perfect mix of staying active and getting things done behind the computer.

I practice yoga (though I’d love to do it more often!), and I’m always learning a new language—because for me, learning about different cultures is the key to understanding different ways of living. Besides Spanish, I speak English, French, Italian, a bit of Catalan, and I’m forever trying to tackle the challenge of Euskera. I’m also a foodie with a deep curiosity for cooking, so you can often find me experimenting in the kitchen.

Hi, I’m Julián, and after spending 15 years in Human Resources, I found my true passion at Biker Street. What I love most about my job is the chance to meet people who are on holiday and in a great mood—there’s something special about being around people who are enjoying life.

Growing up in my father’s repair shop, I also picked up some handy skills with tools, which definitely comes in handy here and there, I love fixing bikes.

When I’m not leading tours, you’ll probably find me gardening or cooking up something delicious. I can cook just about anything, but I have a special talent for asado.
